Hello, the current date is Sat, 18 Nov 2023 04:52:12 GMT+00:00. It can't have been more than a few hours since I screwed something up, or I finally messed up bad enough to no longer be alive. Failure is my default, the lowest and most stable energy level locally and globally. This is not to say that I am a failure, however. I am saying that ruling out what does not work, even in a naive manner, is success through failure. \

In engineering the focus is truly on "what works best" for good reason. Exploring a problem that has an unknown amount of unknowns is a murky grey pit of uncertainty. What works trends towards "what's even possible" in the early phases of research, and that is where failure is a friend. Every box you tick no on is reduction of the problem at large.
